Location: Cleveland, Ohio, United States

I'm a Southerner, born and bred (though you'd never know it from my accent, I'm told). I like to eat 'til I'm tired out from eating, hear good storytelling 'til I can recite the stories in my sleep (Stories have to be told or they die, and when they die, we can't remember who we are or why we're here.), watch people, look at sparkly things, listen to good bluegrass music, dream about owning a dog, tell crazy stories about my family, and organize things.

Rain

It's been raining for about 2 weeks straight.
It's 50 degrees.
I think we're going to just float away.

I'm so afraid to wish for sunshine for my garden, but it needs it! I just don't want the non-stop 100 degree weather that is sure to come with it.

I was so glad to finally meet you at the wedding!

Love me some rain. It keeps the Julie gourds growing. I've already seen a couple of emerging/germinating/sprouting gourd plants.

Ah rain... We were getting some for a while, but lately only afternoon dust storms with one or two drops of moisture. It's still fairly green, though, so that makes me happy.

I feel ya Julie. The weather has been rainy and windy for that long in Indy, too. It's really mucked up my mojo.
